During a week-long campaign which included learning about the work of a few agencies, some fun Halloween activities, a chile contest, and lots of teambuilding, the staff of 46 employees donated almost $53,000 to support UWCNM’s work.
This contributions support all facets of our work, including Mission: Families, Mission: Graduate and the Community Impact Fund grant giving and programs such as 2-1-1 and Tax Help NM.
We’re pleased that every single one of our employees participated,” says Rodney Prunty, UWCNM President and CEO. “It’s no surprise, it’s our community, we have skin in the game. What better way to contribute.”
Employees contributed an additional $15,000 to designated nonprofits of their choice.
Companies and organizations across the city participate annually in employee giving campaigns. Campaigns that participate provide their employees the opportunity to donate through payroll deduction.
