UWCNM Elects Board

Jason Harrington, CEO of HB Construction, will chair the 2018-2019 Board of Directors of United Way of Central New Mexico (UWCNM). He was elected at the organization’s annual meeting on March 13, 2018. Harrington also serves on UWCNM’s Mission: Families Vision Council.

Other officers who were also elected:

  • Immediate Past Board Chair – Kirby Jefferson, Intel (retired)
  • Board Chair Elect – Ryan Shell, NM Gas Company
  • Secretary/Treasurer – Lisa Kruger, Rio Grande Realty & Investments
  • Campaign Chair – Paul Mondragon, Bank of America Merrill Lynch
  • Strategic Development Chair – John Carey, NM Society of CPAs (retired)
  • Public Policy Chair – Carol Mayo Cochran, REDW
  • Community Impact Chair – Bryan Barela, Sandia National Laboratories
  • Marketing Chair – Susan Wilson, Susan J. Wilson Consulting
  • Corporate Cornerstones Chair – Guido Kemp, Wells Fargo
  • Rural Counties Chair – Alejandro Ortega, UNM
  • Mission: Families Vision Council Co-Chair – Helen Wertheim, Charter Insurance Services (retired)

A number of Board members were newly elected to the Board:

  • Susan Wilson, Susan J. Wilson Consulting

In addition, several Board members were elected to continuing terms:

  • Ron Schranz, Burt & Company CPAs

The Board of Directors guides the programs and operations of the United Way of Central New Mexico. It formulates and approves long-range goals, approves and monitors the operating budget of the organization, fulfills other governance and fundraising duties and establishes policies for administering the programs and services that fulfill the mission of United Way of Central New Mexico.
