The Board of Directors of United Way of Central New Mexico (UWCNM) has announced that Rodney Prunty will become President and CEO of the organization as of June 12, 2019. Prunty has served as the President and Chief Professional Officer of United Way of Racine County in Racine, Wisconsin, for six years. Prunty will work with the UWCNM management staff and Board of Directors to continue developing UWCNM’s key focus initiatives, Mission: Graduate and Mission: Families. Both efforts have ambitious goals and are focused on providing families with support so that they can pursue their educations and build stable and resilient lives.
“We are excited about Rodney’s ability to effectively lead the organization to address community challenges. His knowledge of collective impact and systems change will benefit families in our four counties by providing support in ways that will make a positive difference in their lives,” said Ryan Shell, Chair of the UWCNM Board of Directors. “Rodney has a record of success in leadership, partnership building and fundraising, and is passionate about working with others to improve our communities.”
Rodney says he’s excited to have the opportunity to join this beautiful community and work to create sustainable change in Central New Mexico. “I can’t wait to get started.”
