United Way of Central New Mexico is closely monitoring the developments surrounding the spread of Covid-19 in our communities and are making adjustments to our programs and services as necessary.

The Albuquerque Community Foundation and UWCNM are accepting requests from nonprofit organizations struggling with lost and non-recoverable revenue expenses due to COVID-19.

Donate to the ACF/UWCNM Emergency Action Fund 

We're teaming up with Albuquerque Community Foundation to deploy an Emergency Action Fund to support nonprofit organizations struggling with lost and non-recoverable revenue expenses due to COVID-19.You can make a donation by texting EAFC19 to 41444 or by contacting Melissa Dracup by email or phone at 505-350-2561.

Our 2.1.1 Information Line which offers information and referrals to people in need of help, is available between 8:30 a.m and 4:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday until further notice. You can also go directly to our Online Service Directory to find an agency.

Graduate! ABQ is coaching clients via email and by phone. Adults interested in going back to school can start the process at

UWCNM Grant Process

The UWCNM Grant process will continue with changes. Panel members will score presentations virtually using eCImpact. All in person presentations have been canceled. Final Panel deliberations will take place via conference call or video conference. UWCNM still expects to make announcements for funding in May.
